Creating Connections NH has been working over the past few years to engage youth with substance use disorders (SUD), or SUD with co-occurring mental health disorders, in accessing and receiving a spectrum of effective community-based and individualized treatment and recovery supports. Some peer support organizations have begun implementing alternative peer groups to help build a community of recovery and wellness focused supports for youth and young adults in recovery. Medicaid is one funding option that can help organizations seek reimbursement for these services. However, Medicaid regulations can be confusing. This webinar will review Medicaid regulations for Peer Support and answer questions peer support providers may have about billing Medicaid. Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid experts will review Medicaid codes that should be billed and rules associated with those codes.
