"Preparing Your Organization and Workforce for Feb. 2022 ELDT Rules"
The Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) rule takes effect on February 7, 2022. At that time, individuals who wish to obtain for the first time, upgrade a CDL and/or add a passenger, school bus or hazmat endorsement will need to obtain theory and behind-the-wheel training from a provider registered on the Training Provider Registry (TPR) that is administered by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) an agency with US DOT.

We will be joined by Tim White, State Program Specialist with the NH Division (FMCSA) office, for an introduction and overview of the ELDT rules, driver requirements, employer requirements and training provider requirements. Tim will also introduce the TPR website and navigate to the registration, frequently asked questions and resource documents pages that are available for download.

This session is intended for all public works directors and supervisors, administrators, human resources professionals, or others who hire and manage CDL drivers.

Municipalities and other NH employers whose workforce relies upon Commercial Driver Licensing are encouraged to learn about and plan for the ELDT rules now. If you cannot join us for the event "live" it will be recorded for future review.
