NH Direct Marketing Conference: Marketing Your Agriculture Business in the New Normal
The University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension and the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food are pleased to announce the 12th NH Direct Marketing Conference. The conference will bring a breadth of speakers addressing issues around the theme of innovation, trust, communication and hope:

Managing Revenue Volatility with Whole Farm Revenue Protection (WFRP). Jeremy Forrett, Senior Vice President, Crop Growers, Homer, NY

November 16 Session
DeMeritt Hill Farm, Lee, NH. Ryan Wilson, farmer, and Norma Hadley, bookeeper for DeMeritt Hill Farm. Ryan and his family grow an array of berries, apples, peaches, vegetables and pumpkins. Their customers experience on the farm retail sales as well as off the farm online sales. They play host to an array of farm events each year ranging from cross country running to haunted overload and school tours and senior and corporate events. They will speak about their experiences with on line sales and payment with the Square platform as they continue to grow the farm.

Casa Cattle Company, Corina, Maine. Corinna Caron, farmer, with her family raise beef, pork, lamb, chicken, turkey and sell their products through curbside pick -up, delivery, farm store, and CSA. They sell whole side, half side and a variety of cuts of meat to meet each customer’s unique tastes. Customer education is ongoing year round making sure shoppers have the information to enjoy their cooking experience.

Red Fire Farm, Montague and Granby Mass. Sarah Voiland, farm owner and Communications Manager. On her USDA certified organic farm, she and her family and crew produce a wide diversity of vegetables, flowers, fruit, and a selection of vegetable and bedding plant flowers. They grow year round to feed the community through a farm store, CSA, summer and winter farmers markets, and PYO.
